For Manufacturers

Manufacturers - and many roles within them - can benefit from category management training.  Think about it as a means to build your skills in areas like strategic thinking, retail understanding, Shopper understanding, business insights and analytics, and category understanding.  If you are in category management, sales, trade marketing, Shopper marketing, product supply or retail operations, you will benefit from the strategic perspective that you will glean from category management training.

Here are some great category management training options for you to consider if you work for a Retailer:

I want to take a full category management learning program:  You can choose from foundational, intermediate or advanced training programs based on your level of experience in category management.

I'm looking for a fact-based, strategic sales program:  Face it, traditional selling has gone away, and replaced with more consultative selling.  Learn how to apply category management in your sales approach through one of our training programs.

I want to fill in a gap in my professional development:  If you know that there's a specific area - like business insights, presentation development, tactical analysis or category management process - that you don't really understand, filling in these gaps with a few courses could be your best solution.

I want to get industry certification:  If you want to get certified with the Category Management Association and you already completed some formal training, you need to study for your certification exams.  You will want to check out our different options to help you prepare.

I don't really know where to start or what my gaps are:  If you want to take some training but aren't sure where to start, we have a 90-minute assessment test to help you identify the gaps in your knowledge.
